Kisima Voting begins…eerr began
Voting for the 2008 Kisima Music Awards nominees is in progress for the upcoming 8th Annual Kisima Music Awards set to be held at The Windsor Golf and Country Club on the 29th November 2008.
The Nominees were unveiled during the theme launch on 7th October at the Stanley Hotel which marked for the first time the Kisima Music Awards launch the Nominees and unveiled the theme which will feature in most campaigns for the forthcoming Kisima Music Awards gala night that promises to be sizzling.
The Voting process determines the Kisima Music Awards Winner in each Category except for the Producer of the Year, Album of the year, Lifetime Achievement and Trustee awards. A percentage of the final voting process goes to the Voting Academy and the general public which determines the Kisima Music Awards recipients (winners) after an audit by a professional firm.
Voting for the nominees has begun and nominees will have a 7 week period for voting which is meant to run through to November 25th 2008. Kisima Voting academy is slated to have its session in Nairobi on November 15th 2008.
The General public within East Africa votes through the Mobile phone by SMS to a short code number and Internet for the regions without access to the short code.
