EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL 2011 KICKS OFF IN KENYA
The European Film Festival in Nairobi celebrates its 20th anniversary. It commands a central place in the cultural agenda of Nairobi with rich, diverse and refreshing content from the European con–tinent that reflects a multi-cultural and an interactive 21st century Europe, while preserving distinguishing features and historical depth.
This year marks the inclusion of Eldoret as the 4th town to host a mini festival, with the participation of 5 European countries. 15 European countries are participating in Nairobi, 10 in Mombasa and 5 in Kisumu.
The festival continues to be hosted by Alliance Française de Nairobi and offers to the Kenyan and international public a real opportunity to discover award winning films from 15 different European countries.
