NAVIO CALLS KENYAN CELEBS PRETENTIOUS

Ugandan rapper Navio who was in Kenya a week a go. He meet a number of Kenyan acts and formed an opinion. The Rukus rapper interacted with Kenyan celebs at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) Nominees party last month.
Navio said, “From the way I see it, they are quite pretentious especially in front of the camera, they smile with each other but behind the scenes they are enemies. For instance at the MTV nominee party some random artiste just walked up to me and started to talk about his Lamborghini for about 10 minutes. That is when it hit me; they will go to extreme measures to get noticed. They are mostly in this music industry for the fame not for the love of music. This is very sad and shouldn’t be the case.”
Navio who is also part of the rap group Klear Kut was promoting his solo debut album Half The Legend during his stay in Kenya.

GAETANO AVOIDS A MEDIA SCRUM DURING WEDDING

Gaetano Weds

TV personality Gaetano Kaggwa finally married his fiancée Enid Keishemeza Rukikaire in Kampala a while back. In true Gaetano fashion, he went against the norm and decided to have his wedding on a Thursday instead of the usual Saturday.
Media reports based on misleading leaks had stated that the couple would be jumping the broom on a Saturday. These false trails were probably put about after the couple had earlier been forced to put off their nuptials originally slated for June in Kampala to hide away from the media attention.
All the same we did find out that Gaetano and his sweetheart secretly said their vows at a garden ceremony at Ranch On The Lake.
Here is some photos courtesy of the Oboma Social Forum.

They Say Chameleone Isn’t Out Of Danger…Yet

Sections of the Ugandan press claim that Jose Chameleone medical troubles are still looming large. They claim that medical experts have warned him against wearing closed shoes. The singer broke both his legs in a mysterious ‘sleep walking’ saga in a hotel in Arusha a few months back. Worst still, the tabloid claims that a doctor sent Chameleone’s wife, Daniela Atim a text message stating that the hubby would die soon.
The message read: ‘I’m really sorry your husband won’t live to see his beautiful kids grow.
He either tons down (on his energetic stage performances) or he will die.’
They then even quote a lip readers who says that Daniella whispered into Chameleone’s ear (during a past concert) that:
“Can’t you think about your kids for a moment?”.

That is like the biggest bull cr*p I have ever read. Hooooooly cow!
What do you think?

The album titled, Rock in Country Soul was released yesterday in South Africa and will soon be available for purchase all over the continent this coming week.
