The founder of Coast Awards Julia Achieng known by her industry moniker Beyonce is distancing herself from the saga where Tanzanian rapper Chege of The Wanaume TMK was conned by a female promoter.
“As soon as the story was out on The Star on Thursday, I got numerous calls from people asking if I was the female promoter who took Chege’s money and phone,” She said, “This is why I’m hard pressed to explain that I don’t mix business with pleasure. Those who watched Kiss TV when the saga aired know who the promoter is.”
On Kiss TV's Hot Source, Chege revealed to the show’s host Jaymz Kiama that Eve Queen was the promoter in the Sunday morning saga at the Mamba Village.
Numerous calls to Eve for comment still went unanswered.
