AUSTRIAN MODEL IRIS FOR KENYAN CHARITY NEXT WEEK
Iris Strubegger and Caterina Morino both are star models and AMREF’s goodwill ambassadors for Austria and Franch respectively.
Iris Strubegger will be visiting Kenya mid next week in her role as the AMREF Austria goodwill ambassador. Among other engagements, she'll be at Nakumatt Ngong Road on Thursday afternoon next week to endorse the ongoing Nakumatt/AMREF Kshs 5 Bob Moja, Maisha Moja, partnership.
The fundraising programme hosted by Nakumatt Holdings at all its 28 branches countrywide and dubbed Kshs 5 Bob Moja, Maisha Moja, seeks to raise more than Kshs 100 million this year to finance AMREF’s work in maternal health.
Iris was born and raised in Salzburg, Austria. While in school, Iris was discovered by a scout, signed to Elite Model Management worldwide and quickly rose to the top of the fashion world. Many high-level fashion magazines and publications have named Iris as one of the most sought after models of today.
In the time that Iris has been modelling, she has had the opportunity to work with many top industry photographers such as Steven Meisel, David Sims, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Inez van Lamsweerde, Vinoodh Matadin, Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfeld, Paolo Roversi, Mikael Jansson, Daniel Jackson and Patrick Demarchelier.
Top fashion magazines such as Vogue (American, Italian, French, British, German, Russian and Japanese), V Magazine, and i-D Magazine all feature Iris on a regular basis. Iris has been on the covers of Italian Vogue, French Vogue, Japanese Vogue, and Spanish Vogue.
Iris has previously done the Givenchy campaign, Valentino campaign, Pepe Jeans campaign, D&G campaign, and Balenciaga campaign.
