Sea Ray New Trio Boats

Sea Ray unveils new trio

Three new cruisers join the SeaRay line-up
The USA's top boat brand SeaRay has unveiled three new models set to head Down Under. Comprising two new Sundeck day-cruisers and a new 310 Sundancer sportscruiser, the trio will be available via SeaRay approved dealers Down Under in time for the key boating season.
The new Sundecks are the 260 and 280. Designed as family fun dayboats the Sundeck range blends conventional sportcruiser lines and performance with the convenience and space of a deck boat.
The 260 replaces "the popular 240 Sundeck" and features a generous swim platform and ladders fore and aft, "making boarding easy".
There's generous seating for and aft and the transom seat "rotates to face aft and doubles as a ski or wakeboard locker". A built in icebox is fitted forward and a wet bar is standard.
"The 260 Sundeck boasts minimal bowing, quick planing and an overall smooth ride," says Sea Ray.
Standard power is a 250hp MerCruiser 5.0L MPI Bravo III, with options ranging up to 320hp.
The new 280 Sundeck pumps the concept further and features an enclosed head and even more room for lounging and stowing all your water toys.
"Despite all the extras, the 280 roots are as a sport boat," says Sea Ray, "with digital throttle and shift, and a heart-pounding MerCruiser 350 Magnum MPI Bravo III."
The 280 also has SmartCraft instruments with diagnostic features, power assisted tilt steering, and a removable chartplotter as standard.
On the sportcruiser front, SeaRay's Sundancer range is among the most popular. The latest 310 Sundancer will do nothing but reinforce that reputation.
Powered by twin MerCruiser 4.3L MPI Bravo III fuel-injected petrol sterndrives, the 310 offers generous accommodation for up to six and features full head and galley facilities. Cockpit accommodations include a solid-surface wet bar (with space for an optional refrigerator), built-in barbeque, removable teak table and an oversize swim platform.
"Numerous options are available for the 310 Sundancer, ranging from multiple petrol and diesel sterndrives to advanced electronics to a remote-control spotlight," says Sea Ray.
Also available is an aircon system and a "camper canvas" enclosure "for those who prefer to sleep under the stars".
SeaRay's new Axius drive system with helm joystick control can also be specified.
