FESTIVAL OF CREATIVE ARTS is back with an adaptation of Derek Benfield’s ‘Fly in the Ointment’ an hilarious play at Kenya National Theatre starting May 8, 9 and10. The time is as follows, Friday 8 at 6 and 8pm, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10th , both days at 3 and 6pm. Gate charges are a measley 500/=
Fly in the Ointmnet raises several questions like, Why should the Minister for the natural resources be searching the lakeside bungalow of his ex-mistress Donna on a Friday afternoon in May? And why does his virtuous wife, Louise, turn up at the same place on the same day? And what was a romantic doctor with a bunch of flowers doing in Naivasha when his practice is in Nairobi? And to add to these world-shattering questions, the presence of a frustrated policewoman and a devious delivery boy and you have the makings of a riotous farce.
