One of the daughters of the Medical Service Minister Anyang’ Nyong’o was on Monday evening involved in a road accident which saw the car completely written off.
Zawadi Nyongo was rushed to Nairobi hospital where she was treated for soft tissue injuries and later discharged, her father’s PA said. Zawadi, who works with an NGO in Nairobi, is the older sister to the model and filmmaker Lupita, who is currently abroad.
Late Monday evening there was a lot of speculation with word going round that it was Lupita who was involved in the car accident. The PA however confirmed that it was Zawadi and not her younger sibling.
