Last week radio presenter Allan Kasujja left Kenya’s Capital Fm station to join Ugandan radio station Capital FM - Capital Kampala and Capital Nairobi are owned by different entities and the only similarity the two may have is the name.
According to the Ugandan Press, Allan was enticed back to his home country with a promise of millions. Allan is quoted as saying: “They’ve offered me seven million Ugandan shillings (KSh274, 171) a month and that’s good dime here.”
The presenter is known in Uganda as ‘Mr. President’ following his work with Sanyu Fm before he moved to Kenya. His nickname might not be far from the truth as he earns 3.4 million Ugandan shillings (KSh133, 169) more than Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni despite the fact the president recently increased his pay.Kasujja began working this morning on the morning show.
