Kenyan contestant eliminated from American’s Next Top Model
Kenyan Sandra Nyanchoka, who was branded the ‘evil witch’ on the on going 12th season of reality show, America’s Next Top Model, has become the fifth out of an initial 14 to be eliminated from the show.
The task for the day required that each girl pick two oversized cut-outs of Tyra to impersonate. The photo shoot involved a variety of colours blown on the girls’ faces like powder. Each model needed to embody the particular colour in their close-up.
For the task, Sandra was ranked in the bottom two alongside another girl called Celia.
The wannabe diva, 19, based in Maryland, Virginia said in a recent interview, “They did make a mistake when they eliminated me. I was not the weakest model left at that point in the competition,” adding “I think I was sent home because I wasn’t stirring up any drama anymore.
As a parting shot Sandra said, “I’m not a psycho, evil, competitive, monster model robot. You shouldn’t judge me based on what they see on show. I also was more dedicated and tried way harder than they showed. I was always practicing and working on being a better model, but they never showed that.”
There are eight contestants in the running to be American’s Next Top Model.
