Reactions on Martha Karu's Resignation

At a press conference today (06/04/09) at Co-operative House, Minister for Justice Martha Karua tendered her resignation.
Well, here are some reaction from a the Bidii Afrika forum participants.

Aloice belives: “Lets be protective of the truth. I think the descriptions fit Martha perfectly and if she has seen the light and wants to do good as Caroline says, the she needs to come clean to Kenyans, confess her wrong doings especially in regard to the part she played in abetting the death of so many Kenyans then ask for forgiveness.”

Caroline Atieno
“There is one thing that Martha has conquered that most of us are unable to: FEAR, she is brave and has made a decision. How many of us are in situations where we cannot make any decisions just because we fear? We are in jobs we hate, because we fear we may not make it out there, we are in marriages that are not working because we fear being alone. Our self esteem is trampled on until we cannot get it up, and we still hang on hoping that it will work out, then it is all over and we wish we did not hang on too long.
Hate her or love her, Martha is the epitome of courage for the Kenyan woman, and Man. She may have protected election theft, but who said if you are bad you should always be bad? What if she has decided to change and do the right thing?"

Doreen
“Hate her or love her, she got her principles by which she stands for. No one asked you to admire or loathe her, but she has made her point. You can choose to live with it or die!"

Humphrey Omondi,
"She has made real her threat to quit thiz dysfunctional government.
What a bold decision from the iron lady. Let us hope that her resignation would make her former "boss" see things differently.
Hail Martha Karua!"

Lee Makwiny
"We want Raila too to Resign!!!!!! And hope Kenyans will not kill themselves but save their country.
Who accompanied her to the press conference? We need to know who betrayed her."
