Afro fusion act Sarah Mitaru has joined musical greats who were former UN Messengers of Truth after her appointment last Saturday at the United Nations. The Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Anna Tibaijuka made the announcement on the appointment. Radio Jambo breakfast presenter Gidigidi and his band mate Majimaji were the first Kenyan Messenger of Truth nominees. Sarah’s main roles will entail raising awareness about Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as relate to the youth.
